Colorblind Symbols
A shape for every color. One setting gives each of the nine colors its own shape. Every bubble then carries its shape, so you can read the board by shape, by color, or both.
The nine shapes
Each color keeps the same shape everywhere: on the board, in your notes, and in the color picker. The shape is always drawn in its own color.
How to turn it on
- Start any game.
- Tap the gear to open Settings.
- Turn on Colorblind Symbols.
It stays on for every game after that. The app has the same setting.
What changes
- Bubbles. Each one gets a pale center, a ring in its color, and its shape.
- Notes. Each small note dot becomes its shape.
- The color picker. Every button shows its shape too.
- Nothing else. Same rules, same puzzles, same hints and scoring.
Questions
Does it change the puzzle?
No. It only changes how the bubbles look. Sudoku just needs nine symbols that are all different, so shapes work as well as numbers.
